Reports from practice this morning indicate that superstar winger Martin Havlat shaved his scraggly beard off over the Thanksgiving weekend. Marty reportedly said “Anything I can do to get myself out of this ridiculous slump will be done. I can’t believe I’m getting paid millions of dollars to just skate around, shift after shift, without being a factor. Hell, I’m as bad as Shep lately.” (*)
(*) Ok, he didn’t say that, but he might have. In any event, it is news that he skated this morning and hopes to play on Wednesday.

Love the “quote” – totally cracked me up!
Burns scored right after he shaved – before he got re-concussed. Then he told the media that he was also wearing new underwear to get out of his slump. LOL!
