Shock the Monkey to Life

Well, we need a new coach. Pat Quinn and Jacques Martin have been taken, Mike Keenan is a dork and Glen Sonmor is too old, so where do we go from here? Several names have been mentioned, so I’ve compiled a list of candidates along with our current odds:
Todd Richards ~ former overrated Gopher defenseman is clearly the favorite. Fletch has worked with him before and is a fan of his up-tempo style. Plus, our front office and coaching team would have real cool, soap-opera esque names: Chuck Fletcher and Todd Richards. Current odds of 1-4.
Peter Laviolette ~ former cup-winning coach of the Carolina Hurricanes is actively seeking this position. He’d also bring an offensive playbook as well as plenty of hair products. Odds 5-1.
Craig MacTavish ~ fired Oilers coach is always a good quote and would liven up local sports radio. Considered a longshot at this point, but never count him out. Odds 12-1.
Mike Ramsey ~ Lemaire assistant has local ties and a wicked goatee, but I think this new administration is seeking a change. Odds 50-1.
